Automated external defibrillation (AED)

Approximately 6 hours

This course is for participants who have an AED and/or oxygen  and require training in it's use.

Target Audience: This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to use an AED and oxygen equipment

Australia Wide

 A mixture of theoretical and practical elements, with at least 50% of time spent on practical skills.

A minimum of Perform CPR

Apply advanced resuscitation techniques

 · Approved under the Queensland Ambulance Service Act 1991
 · The course is nationally recognised through inclusion on the ANTA National Training Register.

  Prepare equipment for use

 Apply Bag valve mask technique

 Attatch and operate AED

 Administer Oxygen

 Operate suction equipment

Authorised Accidents Happen! First Aid Services First Aid Trainer

 · Attendance at all sections of the course is required.
 · Active participation in group activities and discussions involved in the training program .
 · Successfully complete progressive practical assessments.
    Progressive assessment of the competencies will be conducted throughout the course.
 · Successfully complete a multiple-choice theoretical assessment at the end of the course.

 Approval valid for one (1) year from the completion date.

 
 · Resuscitation Mask - Key ring version
 · A4 Certificate

  · Perform CPR
  · Provide basic emergency life support
  · Apply first aid
 

  · Held at our training rooms
  · For 5 or more we can train on-site
