This course if those people wishing to have the skills and knowledge to perform the essential life saving techniques of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations, and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to perform CPR.

Course composition
A mix of theory and practical training and assessment, with at least 50% of time spent on practical skills.
Pre-requisites
Be at least 14 years of age
Statement of attainment issued
Perform CPR HLTCPR201A
The course is nationally recognised through inclusion on the ANTA National Training Register and conforms to Australian Resuscitation Council Policy Statement 9.1.1.
Course Competencies
· Respond to signs of an unconscious casualty · Perform CPR · Communicate details of the incident
For course Completion you must:
· Attend the entire course
· Participate in all group activities and discussions ·
· Certificate valid for one (1) year from the completion date. · It is recommended that cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills pracitised and reassessed every 12 months.
